This course explains what counts as a security incident and how to recognize the warning signs. It focuses on reporting quickly, what information to give, and what not to do, such as trying to fix the problem alone or deleting evidence. It’s written for every employee and uses realistic scenarios.

Many incidents are noticed early by someone but never reported. People aren’t sure whether something counts, don’t want to raise a false alarm, or worry they’ll be blamed. Every hour of delay gives an attacker more time and makes the damage harder to contain, and some organizations have strict deadlines for notifying authorities. The response can only start once someone speaks up.
