About this course
This course explains what harassment and discrimination are, how to recognize them, including online and in hybrid work, and what bystanders can do. It covers how to report a concern, and includes a lesson for supervisors on their duty to act when they see, hear or are told about harassment. It’s written for every employee, with national supplements starting with Finland.
Harassment often goes unreported because people aren’t sure whether what they saw “counts”, don’t know how to report it, or worry about the consequences. Supervisors who hear about it may not realize they’re expected to act, or don’t know what to do first. When concerns are ignored or handled badly, people get hurt, trust breaks down, and the organization faces legal, reputational and people costs.
