About this course
This course teaches what burnout is and what it is not, why it has become common in the way work is organized today, and how to notice the early signs of strain in yourself and in a colleague. It covers mapping your own warning signs against a normal week, opening a short conversation with a colleague about the work rather than their health, reducing the load where it is yours to change, and raising the rest with your manager in work terms. It’s written for every employee and includes practice.
Strain builds in small steps that each feel normal, so people often carry a growing load alone, miss a change in a colleague, or raise it as a complaint instead of as facts about the work. The course gives everyone the same plain language for it. It offers no medical advice or test: health stays with a doctor or occupational health, and working time and leave follow your organization’s policy.
