NIS2 Cybersecurity Requirements for Critical Sectors
The NIS2 Directive in outline: who is in scope, management responsibilities, cybersecurity risk-management measures, incident reporting and supply-chain security, with Finland as the example.
This course explains what the NIS2 Directive is for and the sectors it covers, how to tell whether an organization is an essential or important entity, the responsibilities it places on management, the cybersecurity risk-management measures it requires, the incident reporting obligations and their deadlines, and supply-chain security. Finland’s Cybersecurity Act is the national example. It’s written for leaders and teams in companies within scope, and for those assessing whether it applies to them.
NIS2 makes cybersecurity a management responsibility with a legal deadline attached to every serious incident. Organizations in scope need their leadership, their IT and security teams and the people who manage suppliers to share one understanding of the obligations, because the measures cut across all of them. The course gives that shared baseline and supports the training the directive asks management bodies to follow; the NIS2 framework courses in this category go on to the implementation.

Yes. A certificate of completion is issued when the knowledge check is passed, and the completion is recorded for your reporting.
It supports one, where a rule asks that people are trained on the subject, and TechClass records who completed it. Whether a requirement is met depends on your own policies and processes, so that is a question for your compliance lead or legal adviser.
Library courses are ready to use as they are. You can build and fully edit your own courses in TechClass, including from your own policies with the AI Course Creator, and combine both in one learning program.
An Essentials course gives everyone the concepts and rules in about an hour. A Skills course goes deeper for the roles that need it: about 8 hours with practice, a graded assessment and a certificate that lists the skills, licensed per learner.
