About this course
This course introduces the fraud methods organizations meet most: impersonation of executives, colleagues and suppliers, forged documents and false identities, invoice fraud and payment diversion. It teaches the practical checks to make before paying, signing or sharing, and how to raise a concern: what to report, to whom and how fast. It’s written for every employee, and in particular for the people who handle payments, invoices and customer documents.
Most fraud succeeds because it looks routine: an invoice with new bank details, an urgent request from a familiar name, a document that passes a glance. The person who processes it is the last line of defense, and a short pause and a verification step are what separate a loss from a near miss. The course builds that habit across the organization and pairs naturally with the Business Email Compromise course in the Cybersecurity category, which covers the email side of the same attacks.
