The purpose of this Honor Code (“Code”) is to preserve the integrity, credibility, and value of learning experiences provided by TechClass. All users of the TechClass platform, including but not limited to learners, instructors, and contributors, are required to comply with this Code, the [TechClass Terms of Service], and any additional academic policies, codes of conduct, or institutional requirements associated with specific programs delivered through TechClass.
Academic misconduct undermines the authenticity of learning achievements, devalues the efforts of other learners, and damages the reputation of TechClass and its partners. Any violation of this Code may result in corrective action, including but not limited to suspension, removal from a course or program, revocation of certificates, or denial of refunds.
All activity conducted on the TechClass platform is subject to this Code. This includes, without limitation:
“Unauthorized” refers to any activity that violates the TechClass Terms of Service, this Code, applicable course or platform policies, or academic standards of integrity that a reasonable learner would be expected to know. Unauthorized activity may also include unlawful conduct.
The following conduct constitutes academic misconduct. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive.
Consulting, accessing, or using unauthorized resources or devices in connection with any TechClass activity, unless expressly permitted by the course instructor or TechClass.
Working with any other person or entity on an activity unless expressly authorized by the relevant course or assessment instructions.
Paying, trading, or otherwise inducing another person to prepare or submit work on your behalf.
Engaging in any form of misrepresentation of identity, including:
Engaging in any activity designed to confer an unfair advantage to yourself or another person, or any conduct intended to dishonestly influence, alter, or impair the academic results of yourself or others.
For all TechClass courses, guided projects, and specializations not associated with formal university degree programs:
Honor Code violations shall be determined at the sole discretion of TechClass and/or its academic partners.
Learners will be notified if a determination is made that they have violated this Code and will be informed of the corrective action to be taken.
All determinations under this Code are final and not subject to further appeal within the TechClass platform, except where appeal rights are expressly provided under the applicable policies of the partner institution.
