This Payments and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which payments are made to TechClass and refunds are provided for its services. By purchasing or subscribing to any paid service offered by TechClass, you agree to the terms set forth herein.
Please note that payment options may vary by product, and refund rights may differ depending on the type of offering. TechClass also reserves the right to deny refunds to users who violate the TechClass Terms of Service, Honor Code, or any other applicable policy, even if the request is made within the designated refund period.

1. One-Time Purchases
1.1. Courses and Specializations
- You may obtain a full refund for a one-time paid enrollment if:
a) The request is made within fourteen (14) days of payment; and
b) You have not earned a certificate in the course or specialization. - If you pre-enroll and pay for a course or specialization, you may obtain a full refund until:
a) Fourteen (14) days after the course or specialization launch date; or
b) The date you earn a certificate, whichever occurs first.
1.2. Expiry of Access and Certificates
- Courses: If you do not complete a course within one hundred eighty (180) days of registration, your access will expire. Re-enrollment and repayment will be required to earn a certificate. Once a certificate has been awarded, no refund will be available.
- Specializations: Unless otherwise specified at purchase, you must complete a specialization within one (1) year of enrollment. After this period, re-enrollment and repayment will be required.
2. Month-to-Month Specialization Subscriptions
2.1 .General Refunds
- Payments made under a monthly subscription plan are non-refundable.
2.2. Trials
- If you enroll with a free trial, you must cancel prior to the end of the trial to avoid being charged.
- If you complete a course during the trial period, TechClass reserves the right to require payment for one month’s subscription before issuing a certificate.
2.3. Cancellation
- Subscriptions renew on a month-to-month basis unless canceled by you or otherwise terminated by TechClass.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access until the end of the cycle but will not receive a refund.
- For individual specialization subscriptions, TechClass will automatically terminate your subscription once you earn the specialization certificate.
3. Other Paid Services
Except as expressly provided in this Policy or otherwise disclosed during sign-up, TechClass has no obligation to provide refunds, credits, or vouchers for any other paid services. Refunds may be granted only at TechClass’s sole discretion.
4. Third-Party Marketplaces
- If you purchase or subscribe through a third-party marketplace (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play, or other payment providers), the refund policy of that marketplace shall apply, unless explicitly stated otherwise by TechClass.
- The third party will be solely responsible for processing refunds under its applicable policy.
- TechClass disclaims all liability for third-party refund practices, compliance, or non-compliance.
5. Promotional Offers
- From time to time, TechClass may provide promotional discounts, free trials, or special pricing (“Offers”).
- Eligibility is determined solely by TechClass.
- TechClass reserves the right to revoke, modify, or deny Offers if eligibility requirements are not met.
- Additional terms and limitations will be disclosed at the time of the Offer.
6. Changes to Price and Subscription Plans
- TechClass reserves the right to modify subscription plans or adjust pricing at any time, in its sole discretion.
- Except where otherwise required by law, such changes will take effect only after notice has been provided to affected users.
7. Rights of Withdrawal for European Users
7.1. General Right
- Users in the European Union (or in jurisdictions with equivalent protections) may withdraw from their contract with TechClass within fourteen (14) days of purchase without providing a reason.
- The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days after the contract is concluded.
7.2. Exceptions
- You will lose the right of withdrawal if:
a) Services have been fully performed with your express consent and acknowledgement; or
b) You begin using the services with your express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost.
7.3. Exercise of Right
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify TechClass with an unequivocal statement (e.g., written notice via email or postal mail).
- You may use the Model Withdrawal Form below, though it is not mandatory.

7.5. Refund Process
- If you validly withdraw, TechClass will reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs (if applicable), without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of your withdrawal notice.
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
- If services began during the withdrawal period at your request, you must pay a reasonable amount proportional to the services provided prior to withdrawal.
- The burden of proof of exercising the right of withdrawal within the 14-day period rests with the user.
8. Enforcement
- Violations of the TechClass Terms of Service, Honor Code, or related policies may result in loss of eligibility for refunds, regardless of timing.
- TechClass has no obligation to issue refunds in such cases.
